  • A 15-minute “getting to know you” phone call, so I can get an idea of where you’re stuck or seeing challenges

  • A thorough review of your property, via your website or through Skype, so we can look at the property objectively and through a “renter’s eyes”

  • Room layout of a room of your choice, so you’ll know exactly how everything fits and should be placed (typically, this is the living room, master bedroom, or dining room)

  • Renderings of your room, so you will see how everything will look when finished

  • A shopping list, with prices, clickable links and vendors, so you will not be wasting your precious time and money, wandering aimlessly around Home Goods, buying too much stuff or the wrong stuff, and then taking the time and gas to return it… (and so you’ll stay within budget)

  • A mood board, so you can get a clear idea of how everything looks together

  • A paint palette, to pull everything together and to prevent paint color mistakes (and hours of running back and forth to the big box store trying to get the perfect shade)

  • Fill out the questionnaire and together we come up with what we want your vacation property to look like

  • We will use Skype or I will review your online rental listing, and you will receive a How-To guide for any other information I may need to design your rooms (measurements, etc.)

  • Sit back and relax. I get to work, picking your perfect paint colors, furniture, accessories, and artwork—what ever is necessary to bring your rental to that next level

  2. How much is this going to cost? This package $497 per room, is based on all of the time it takes for me to look at the property and the comparables, to search for furniture, accessories, and paint colors that will transform your rental. To compare, figure out how much time and money you have lost in the past by driving around from place to place, bringing home stuff you thought would work in your rental, and all the gas and time you spent returning it. Not to mention how much time and $$$ you lost because the rental was in flux and remained vacant. How many weeks in vacancy are you willing to allow, so you can have the time to search for all the items you need, paint the property, and get it all in place?

  3. Why do I have to begin with a phone call? This is one of the most important parts of the process. I get to truly know you, your ideas and true decorating needs. You will see whether or not we are a good fit. If you prefer, you can always decide to do another package.

  4. Can I see actual paint and fabric swatches? Absolutely; we will have them sent directly to your home!

  5. Can you work with what I already have? Of course! If you have a set budget, we will do our best to incorporate pieces we know are necessary and durable in the long run. We don’t want you to waste your money on unnecessary things. But we will also advise you on where to invest wisely.
